New Opportunity: Independent Board Director Opportunity – AI, Technology & Governance

Mohawk Medbuy (MMC) is seeking nominations for an independent director to join its Board of Directors, with a particular focus on providing oversight related to artificial intelligence (AI), technology strategy and governance.

The role of the MMC Board of Directors centres on strategic oversight, risk governance, and fiduciary responsibility of our growing, not-for-profit, shared services organization serving Canadian health care. Examples of skills or learned experience useful in providing guidance as an independent director: strategic AI and digital transformation oversight; AI governance, ethics and risk management; data governance and analytics literacy.

MMC takes a data-driven approach in supporting our sustainable supply chain model of Source-to-Pay services enabled by our digital roadmap. The value generated through these services is a critical component of our commitment to our membership of health care providers, impacting the health system and allowing Members to focus on providing the best patient care.
