Woodstock Hospital Moves to Mohawk Medbuy’s Pharmacy Services

Mohawk Medbuy (MMC) is pleased to announce that Woodstock Hospital is transitioning to MMC’s comprehensive Pharmacy Services, providing value-driven procurement solutions for pharmaceutical products and services. Woodstock Hospital is part of a large and growing number of Canadian health care organizations leveraging MMC’s not-for-profit, shared services structure to enhance operational efficiency and patient care.

As a full-service community hospital with 178 beds, Woodstock Hospital provides primary care and specialized services across Oxford County. Woodstock Hospital’s transition to MMC Pharmacy Services reflects its ongoing commitment to delivering high-quality care in a complex and evolving health care environment.

“Strong procurement partnerships allow Woodstock Hospital to secure the very best value and quality of the products we use to support patient care,” said Perry Lang, Woodstock Hospital President & CEO. “This agreement with Mohawk Medbuy helps us remain responsible stewards of hospital resources, while ensuring our team has the products and equipment needed to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care to our community.”

MMC’s Pharmacy Services include access to a robust contract portfolio, clinical support and innovative programs like MitigAID – an industry-leading solution that helps hospitals navigate manufacturer supply disruptions and automate reimbursement processes when shortages occur. These tools help reduce administrative burden and ensure continuity of care for patients.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Woodstock Hospital to MMC Pharmacy Services,” said Ally Dhalla, MMC’s Senior Vice President, Pharmacy and Clinical Services & Innovation, and Government. “This demonstrates their trust in the support we deliver and results we provide. We look forward to partnering with Woodstock Hospital’s pharmacy team to help streamline operations, manage supply disruptions and optimize pharmaceutical procurement.”
