Scarborough Health Network Transitioning to MMC’s Pharmacy Services
Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) is pleased to announce that Scarborough Health Network (SHN) will be transitioning to our comprehensive Pharmacy Services offerings – a decision that follows MMC’s recent amalgamation. SHN will benefit from the excellent value of our Pharmacy Services and our not-for-profit, shared services model that continues to attract public sector organizations across Canada.
The new, stronger Mohawk Medbuy is building a resilient health care supply chain by offering some of Canada’s largest contract volumes along with expanded value and insight. “We’re happy to be deepening our relationship with SHN,” said Ally Dhalla, MMC’s Senior Vice President, Pharmacy and Clinical Services and Innovation. “We’ve supported SHN’s hospital-owned retail pharmacies for several months, and we look forward to providing our enhanced continuum of services to all pharmacies across their network.”
In February 2023, SHN joined MMC’s Retail Pharmacy Program – a service that helps protect the financial viability of these important patient touchpoints. By onboarding fully to MMC’s Pharmacy Services, SHN’s will now have complete access to the tremendous savings of MMC contracts – along with our value-added insight.
