Mohawk Medbuy Welcomes Grey Bruce Health Services as Newest Member

Mohawk Medbuy Corporation (MMC) is pleased to announce that Grey Bruce Health Services (GBHS) has joined them as their newest Member. This continues the significant growth of MMC, which has seen 26 new organizations join them over the past 18 months across health care and other sectors – in addition to a rapidly growing number of participants in the newly formed MMC OHTconnect Program for Ontario Health Teams. The Burlington-based organization provides collaborative, value-based procurement and other services to hospitals and other care providers across Ontario, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island that save the health care sector millions of dollars annually.

Grey Bruce Health Services is a recognized leader in rural health care, operating a regional hospital in Owen Sound that offers a full range of specialty services, and community hospitals in Lion’s Head, Markdale, Meaford, Southampton and Wiarton. Collectively, they serve 165,000 permanent residents and more than two million short-stay visitors and seasonal residents.

“Having Grey Bruce Health Services join Mohawk Medbuy reinforces the support and value we bring to health care providers of all sizes,” said Tony DiEmanuele, President and CEO of MMC. “We’re extremely pleased to have them as a Member. It will give their hospitals access to some of Canada’s largest sourcing initiatives, as well as our innovative programs like MitigAID, PPEplus and Qwantify that are streamlining processes and supporting patient care.”
